Don&#8217;t take it easy because human life is short. Very soon we will die from this world. In the cycle of rebirths, only the human body can pursue perfection. Other kinds of bodies in other worlds are difficult to pursue perfection. It happens once in a long while and is an exception such as Sakra, Lord of the Devas and Lady Suchada who gave alms to an Arahant. But, we should not even think about doing that. Because it happens very rarely. Now we still have a human body and are still alive. We must pursue perfection with all effort and power. When merit bears its fruit, we will be pleased.<\/p>\n<p>February 8, of a Kalyanamitta or a good friend is to practice meditation. Practice meditation in order to accumulate a lot of merit within ourselves. Then we will have a strong mind, joy, and happiness. The flow of our happiness from meditation will spread out around us. It is invisible to the eyes, but we can feel it with our hearts. Anyone who approaches us, he or she will have a feeling of calmness, happiness, and warmth that cannot be described. Like a person walking through the heat of the sun, find a big tree, and sit under the shade of the tree. That person must feel cooler in the body and mind. When we go out to act as a good friend to other people and invite them to make merit together with us whether in other provinces or in Bangkok, do not think that we are acting alone. Do not forget that Luang Por goes with us. Always remember that we are all in the center of Dhammakaya of Luang Por and Khun Yai always. Keep our mind at the center of our body every time we go out to do our duty. At the center, we open our minds to meet with Luang Por. refer to those who invite people to make merit only, but also those who are a good example in physical conduct, speech, and mind, to the world. They must be rich in precepts, inner peace, and wisdom. Then, they can be truly called &#8220;Kalayanamitta&#8221;. The most important principle of every life that is born as a human being is to seek true happiness. This happiness is gathered in the Dhammakaya which is in the center of the body of every human.\u00a0 Since we are Kalyanamitta, we must introduce this principle to people around the world. So, they can find true happiness and understand the world and life correctly. We tell them how to attain the Dhammakaya within themselves. In order to attain the inner Dhammakaya, one must accumulate merit from giving alms, keeping the precepts, and meditating regularly. We can start doing little by little and gradually perform more of these wholesome deeds. Eventually this will lead our mind to reach the Dhammakaya and find inner happiness. Happiness will expand outward, cheer up our mind, and make our skin radiant. Our minds will possess the power to attract our relatives and friends to join the merit-making activities as well. This is the main principle of the merit leader or Kalyanamitta. Therefore, Kalyanamitta must practice meditation regularly and cannot miss the practice even one day. Soldiers in the fields will have to encounter all kinds of weapons of the enemy and cannot choose not to meet the enemy. They cannot choose to meet only enemies with certain types of weapons. They must be patient to be a soldier in a battle in the world. Likewise, the Dharma warriors will encounter all kinds of defilements. We must fight against the stinginess that is in ours and other\u2019s hearts. We encourage others to fight their stinginess. Why should we be discouraged? Our fight is not like musical folk drama in which characters sing, dance, and fight with wooden swords. This is a real life story that actually happens. If we can forgo the sour mango now, we will be able to eat the sweet ripe mango later for a long time. It is sweet and joyful in heaven and in the human world in the future for a long time. The results are beyond expectations and beyond the expectation of human beings in the world. No matter how knowledgeable and competent scientists are, they are not able to expect the outcome. Only the Lord Buddha knows the outcome.\u00a0 Since we are in this world for a few more years, we must forgo the sour for the sweet. Do not forget these words. They have a deep meaning. We will encounter unwholesome deeds that are alluring or bad people with sour conduct and words, we must be patient. If there is something or someone that tempts us to commit sins for fortune, rank, praise, property, money, we must be patient. We must forgo the sour at the moment for the sweet later by doing our good deeds. We must perform our duty fully and use this body fully for good deeds. We work our body like cramming a sugarcane to obtain the sweet juice and leaving the pulp. We leave our body in the world, but take good deeds and merit with us into the next life. Now we must forgo the sour for the sweet later. We only endure a little now. A few more decades in the human world. But this sweet of our deeds will last tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands of years in the future. It will be a very long time. There is no dead end. Every problem has a solution. If our mind is calm, we will find a solution. We must understand that for everything right now, good and evil are at war. No side has yet lost or won. Each side has about the same power. That is why we cannot achieve all our wishes. Therefore, when we go to do our duty, we will meet three types of people: wholly receptive, somewhat receptive, and not receptive. Our hearts must be resolute. Don&#8217;t let our hearts flutter. When they are not receptive to our invitation to do good deeds, we will not leave them forever, but one day we will come back again. Human life is full of suffering and one day they will encounter the suffering. On that day they will miss us and will find us. We have heard the term &#8220;fortune falling on a person&#8221;, but in reality, there is no such thing.
