A specific cause has some specific effect. Karma is acting physically, verbally, or mentally. Whether it is good or bad, intentional or unintentional, big or small action, it will have an effect. There is no action that does not have an effect. Some effects are immediately apparent today. Some do not show because we die before we observe the effect. But that effect will be passed on after death or after we are reborn. Laws or rules in the world that humans make up can be evaded and can be changed. This year we use this law and next year we can change to a new law. But the law of Karma never changes. Doing good things leads to good effects and doing bad things leads to bad effects. We will get what we do. Planting beans must be beans that we can harvest at the end. Planting sesame must be the sesame that we will get. Beans cannot be grown from sesame seeds. Sesame seeds cannot be grown from beans. We have to learn it. If we don’t know it, we are in danger. If we know it, we can survive and be safe. Even if our defilements have not been completely cleansed, we can live in the cycle of rebirths safely from evil. Because we are doing the right thing. We will only be reborn in two realms, namely in human or celestial realms. We will not fall into hell realms, which are filled with suffering. If we know the Law of Karma, most of us will only do good deeds and pursue perfection. The chances of committing sinful deeds will be low.
