May I declare to the noble Sangha that I vow to take the Buddha, who entered Nirvana a long time ago, together with the Dhamma and the Sangha to be my refuge.
\nMay the Sangha remember me as a Buddhist who takes refuge in the Triple Gem for my entire life, from now on.
\nI will behave according to the Buddhist way; to have firm faith in the Triple gem, diligently observe precepts, not to believe in hearsay, not accumulate merit outside Buddhism but regularly make merit in Buddhism for my prosperity in life until the day I attain Nirvana.<\/p>\n
