\nA temple is a sacred residence of the Buddha where people come to learn Dhamma, meditate, generate pu\u00f1\u00f1a, and refine their characters. Therefore, we request that visitors exercise propriety at all times to show respect for the Buddha and to contribute to the peaceful atmosphere at the temple for everyone\u2019s benefits.
\nAccordingly, we request that our visitors observe the following prohibitions:
\n1. Smoking and consumption of all kinds of alcoholic beverages (wines included) and addictive substances within the temple\u2019s premise.
\n2. Talking about politics or economy or anything that can escalate into a debate.
\n3. Talking about work, money, dating, marriage, family, or any other worldly matters.
\n4. Talking on a cell phone during a meditation session or a sermon (visitors are asked to turn off their cell phones and turn them on the silent mode).
\n5. Bringing and\/or reading news publications at the temple.
\n6. Selling or advertising any kind of product or service.
\n7. Seeking business or political connections.
\n8. Playing music or turning on a radio station or a music player.
\n9. Playing games or watching movies whether from a cell phone or from a computer\/ electronic device.

\n11. Releasing unwanted animals at the temple or let pets roam around (visitors are asked not to bring their pets to the temple).
