Meditation is a natural process of stilling the mind to be peaceful and focused at one point so that it will not be affected or stirred by internal or external matters. One who practices meditation regularly possesses great mindfulness and firm resolve. And with persistent practice, one develops wisdom and is able to see everything in its truest light. When problems do arise, one is able to address them correctly at their root causes. A still mind is likened to crystal clear water where one can see everything straight to the very bottom.<\/p>\n

Meditation is a universal practice that does not infringe upon one’s race or religion. Meditation can be practiced freely by anyone, anywhere, and at any time. Practicing meditation regularly cultivates a mind that is peaceful and not easily distracted. With reduced distractions, one is more mindful and present. This gives way to greater understanding and awareness of oneself, of each word spoken and each action taken. By being more mindful, one \u201cthinks before speaking or carrying out an action\u201d. This helps reduce missteps and carelessness. Thus, meditation is a natural process that trains one to be more mindful and organized in one\u2019s thinking. When practiced earnestly and consistently over time, the mind becomes increasingly refined. One will enjoy more positivity and improved health.
